Renovated kitchen with open timber shelving, teal subway tile splashback and warm pendant lighting, Grange renovation by Site Architecture.

Grange

This extensive renovation reimagines a classic 1930s home, transforming underused rooms into a light open plan hub for modern family life.

At the heart of the house, the kitchen becomes a central gathering space with views into a lush secluded garden. The living area and dedicated vinyl listening zone open onto a generous deck, creating an easy connection between indoor and outdoor living.

Bold colours and expressive finishes were chosen to reflect the client's art collection and adventurous taste. The result is a highly personalised home - playful, full of character and designed to grow with the family.

Project Type: Residential Renovation + Alteration
Location: Hillsborough, Christchurch
